We’re specialised in website design, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Google ads management, social media marketing, and content creation. Over the past years, we’ve been at steep growth, and we’ve established ourselves as the go-to one-stop digital agency in the Townsville and the North Queensland area. A rare opportunity has become available for another Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a newly created position in our team and the person will report directly to our Founder & Manager.
Our new Marketing Assistant will contribute to success of our clients while supporting our internal marketing initiatives. This job includes various responsibilities, including digital marketing, communications, branding, advertising, and social media. The marketing assistant must be an organised multitasker able to handle diverse projects and meet our organisation’s and our clients’ objectives.
Objectives & Responsibilities
- Do digital marketing to company’s clients by developing and implementing marketing campaigns such as web site editing, writing marketing texts, planning, and implementing social media posts, and doing marketing assessments.
- Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
- Support senior team members in analysing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning, and organising promotional presentations, and updating calendars.
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.
- Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Skills & Qualifications
Must have skills
- Punctual and high achieving self-starter
- Aptitude to learn and advance in your career
- Advanced professional written English language skills
- At least 1 year of hands-on digital marketing experience or equivalent skills
- A diploma or a certification in marketing or equivalent
- Must be legally eligible to work in Australia
Desired / bonus
- Hands-on experience in any of the following: website editing, SEO, Google ads, Facebook, content writing, graphic design and/or IT
- Physically located in the Townsville area
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field
